Visionary Leader Gerry Gadoury – Founder, Author, and CEO of Red Beard Solutions

What is your big vision? Tell us about your personal WHY that keeps you motivated.

I am passionate about the Startup and Small-business community! We are the drivers of the economy, creators of jobs, and global innovators and yet we receive very little of the support that mega-corps get! Does that contribute to the 93% failure rate? I believe so and I aim to change that! One of the primary areas where customers fail is on the “people-side” of their business. They haven’t learned how to build a world-class team. Where to find them. How to attract them. And, most importantly, how to lead them to consistently perform at high levels (and beat industry tenure standards!). Through my consulting company, RedBeard Solutions, and my bestselling book, Destination Employer, I empower them to do just that!

What does success look like for you?

One more Founder who was surviving that I’ve helped to thrive. And then one more after that.

As a leader in your field, how do you inspire others to join your mission?

On my podcast and in my book I share stories from Founders, and my experience from almost 30 years supporting people like them in this space to show them what they need to do to succeed.

Who helps you achieve your vision? What role do partnerships and collaborations play in your work? Any tips or inspiring stories about finding the right people to collaborate with?

I partner with several service providers to assist the Startup and Small business market and collaborate with many of them, as well as Founders and Leaders to share information and stories for the community. I do this on my LinkedIN page, YouTube channel, and my Podcast Business Mastery for Startups. This has not only empowered me to expand my support of the community but it has helped me to meet many wonderful people that I would have otherwise not met. Not only have those relationships produced business but also, in many cases, friendships.

How has your vision and approach evolved over time?

I used to try to do it on my own. I rapidly learned that flying solo inhibits my reach far too much!

What advice would you give to a fellow leader with a Vision that is bigger than themselves?

Reflect on what your mission really is and, once you have it locked down, build a community of like-minded people around you that share the same outcomes but, ideally, bring different skills to the table.
